Arenal Volcano
Poas Volcano
Rincon de la Vieja
Did you know there are different types of volcanos?
Fun facts about Costa Rica volcanos can make your visit an enduring memory!
Costa Rica has six active volcanos and over 100 volcanic craters scattered throughout the country.
Some places look more like the moon than Central America!
The Monteverde area and the Arenal volcano are my favorite destinations when it comes to cloud forests and volcano activities.
The Tabacon hot springs, La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal area are erie but wonderful places to explore.
Irazu and Poas don't rumble and rattle like Arenal and many times are covered by clouds all day.Arrive at Poas before 10:00 am if you want a chance to see the volcano crater and the volcanic lakes they contain before the clouds roll in.
Poas has one of the largest volcanic lakes in the world!
